iQuda Sponsors the 2018 Isabel Hospice Bubble Rush 5K

Sunday 22nd July saw 1300 runners head down to Cheshunt Park to take part in the Bubble Rush 5K Race for Isabel Hospice.  The hospice hopes to raise around £30,000 from the event to help fund the cost of their free and lifesaving care. iQuda was delighted to sponsor this year’s event.

The Bubble Rush 5K course begins in a sea of bubbles and sees runners charging ahead through Bubble Stations along the route. Cannons pump out coloured foam creating a 4ft deep bubble bath – great fun for kids and adults alike. The events run around the UK from April to October and are aimed at raising money for charity. Each race supports a local hospice.

On the day the participants enjoyed:

  • Live entertainment
  • Stalls, food and colourful merchandise
  • A Bubble Rush t-shirt and medal

Beth Hardy, Head of Community and Events at Isabel Hospice said:

“ It was such a brilliant day in the sunshine and I have to say it was our best yet in terms of numbers and the general organisation of the day… I can’t thank you enough for supporting this event and for helping us to raise this incredible amount which will make an enormous difference to our patients and families.”

As a sponsor, iQuda donated funds to help Isabel Hospice hit their fundraising target. In return, runners donned numbered bibs emblazoned with the iQuda logo.

Garth Macintosh, Internal Sales & Marketing Manager at iQuda said:

“The Bubble Rush 5K is an exciting and unique event – we’re so glad Isabel Hospice invited us to sponsor it. It’s a great feeling to give back to the hospice and the event looked absolutely amazing. Well done to the hospice team for pulling it off and to all the runners and volunteers who made the day possible.”
