iQuda Gets Baking for South Bucks Hospice

On Friday 1st December, the team got baking to host a bake-off in aid of South Bucks Hospice. All proceeds were donated to help support the Hospice in the run-up to Christmas.

There was no shortage of sweetness last Friday when the iQuda team raised £100 in aid of South Bucks Hospice. From ginger cakes and gingerbread houses to first-attempts to Christmas masterpieces, the team did the Hospice proud.

Jonny

Ginger and cherry cake

Stephen

Our CEO Stephen’s first attempt at a cake. His experience baking sourdough came through in his loaf shaped cake.

Shirley

Shirley blew us out the water with this festive rainbow cake.

Sonia

Sonia’s chocolate and vanilla frosted cupcakes were a huge hit.

Garth

Garth baked this gingerbread house from scratch!

Martin

Not one, but three separate dishes scored Martin major points – chocolate flapjacks, an apple cake and a dairy-free option.

And the Winners are…

Everyone was given 3 votes to decide the “Best Looking”, “Tastiest” and “Overall Winner”. The votes are counted, and the winners are:

Best Looking: Shirley

Tastiest: Jonny & Martin

Overall Winner: Shirley

Well done and thank you to everyone who took part. Congratulations to Shirley, Jonny and Martin for scoring top votes!

More events

We’ll be hosting a number of events throughout December to raise as much as possible for charity. Stay tuned for our Festive Jumper Day and clothes drive.
